Developing an application requires skills. SumUp POS Pro doesn't provide integrations services to assist in the development. Before starting this journey, you should consider two questions:
- Technical resources: Do you have the proper organisation or competency to achieve your goal? It means understanding the documentation, the processes to move from development to production. It means being able to test and debug the developments. The successful teams are the ones with the right competencies: experience and autonomy of development with REST API and end to end testing.
- Support and responsibilities: SumUp POS Pro can not engage its responsibility to cover the consequences or impacts of applications developed outside its control. SumUp POS Pro API are open and powerful. They can modify orders, change customer’s details and alter product prices. Each application remains under the responsibility of the developer. If an integration is shared between several stores, the technical support should be managed by the provider.
